The Shimano SM-CB90 Brake Cable Adjuster is designed for use with direct mount brakes and creates more slack in the brake cable, so swapping out wheels is made easier. When required, simply flick the small lever open to create less tension in the brake cable to enable removal of wheels.
The high grade barrel adjuster can be installed inline on SLR or M-System brake cables to allow fine adjustment of brakes and uses a quick release function for easy opening of road brake calipers. Often used on road and TT bikes with bottom bracket mounted rear brakes.
